Blood Orange Vanilla Oatmeal Yogurt
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 blood orange, peeled and segmented
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/4 cup almond slices
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Put the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix them together
After mixing well, set it aside
Put the chia seeds, rolled oats, and a pinch of salt in a different bowl and mix them together
Stir in the honey until everything is well mixed
Start putting the yogurt parfait together by adding a layer of the yogurt mixture to a bowl or glass that will be used for serving
Put some of the oatmeal mix on top of the yogurt
On top of the oatmeal, put blood orange segments
Do this again and again until the bowl or glass is full
Finish with a dollop of yogurt on top
If you want, you can add more blood orange segments and almond slices as a garnish
Put it in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes to let the flavors mix
You can enjoy your Blood Orange Vanilla Oatmeal Yogurt after the yogurt is chilled
