Crispy Air Fryer Pickles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dill pickle chips
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 400F 200C
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper if using
In another shallow dish, beat the egg
In a third shallow dish, mix the panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese
Dip each pickle chip into the flour mixture, then the beaten egg, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the pickles to adhere
Place the coated pickle chips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching
Lightly spray the pickle chips with cooking spray to help them get crispy
Air fry the pickles at 400F 200C for 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy
You may need to flip them halfway through for even cooking
Remove the fried pickles from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving
Serve your crispy air fryer pickles with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
