Dark Chocolate Walnut Brownies
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g unsalted butter
- 200g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 75g all-purpose flour
- 25g cocoa powder
- 100g walnuts, chopped
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
Grease and line a square baking pan with parchment paper
In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined
Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring continuously
Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, then fold them into the batter until just combined
Stir in the chopped walnuts
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares
