Sugared Donuts with Pillsbury Dough
Made with Pillsbury biscuit dough, these Sugared Donuts are a tasty and easy dessert. These are great any time of day as a sweet snack or for breakfast. The coating of sugar and cinnamon adds a delicious flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 can Pillsbury biscuit dough
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
Preheat the oil to 350F 175C in a deep fryer or large skillet
Split the biscuits after opening the Pillsbury biscuit dough can
Cut a donut-shaped hole in the middle of each biscuit using a small round cutter or a soda bottle cap
Fry the donuts for two to three minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown on both sides, flipping them as necessary
To get rid of extra oil, take the donuts out of the oil and drain them on paper towels
Ground cinnamon and granulated sugar should be combined in a shallow bowl
Roll the donuts in the sugar-cinnamon mixture to coat them evenly while they are still warm
